Apple iPhone SE 3 has been spotted in CAD-based leaked renders shared by publication TenTechReview in collaboration with tipster Xleaks7. Notably, this is also the first time the smartphone’s renders have appeared on the web. The leaked images give us a look at the upcoming third-generation iPhone SE.
The iPhone SE 3 is expected to launch in March or April this year. It will arrive as the successor to the second-generation iPhone SE that debuted way back in 2020. Let’s take a look at the leaked renders of the iPhone SE 3.
iPhone SE 3 leaked renders reveal design
The iPhone SE 3 looks quite identical to its predecessor in terms of design. It features a slim design with rounded corners. The glass back panel has an Apple logo and a single camera sensor paired with an LED flash. The left side of the device houses a volume rocker and alert slider whereas the power button and SIM tray is located on the left edge. At the bottom, the smartphone has a lightning port flanked by speaker grilles.
Coming to the front, the iPhone SE 3 looks similar to the iPhone XR in the leaked renders. The device has a wide notch for accommodating Face ID and other sensors. The smartphone is said to feature a 5.69-inch display surrounded by thin bezels. As per the renders, Apple has also gotten rid of the Touch ID on the upcoming offering. The device is seen in a White colour but we can expect more options at launch.
Apart from the leaked design, previous reports suggest that the iPhone SE 3 could be powered by A14 Bionic or A15 Bionic SoC with the latter also offering 5G connectivity. The third-generation device will reportedly pack 128GB storage and feature a 12MP rear camera.
Earlier leaks have suggested that Apple will stick with the design of the existing iPhone SE for the 2022 offering. However, these leaked renders suggest Apple might finally upgrade iPhone SE to a design language first seen with the iPhone X. We expect more details on the iPhone SE 3 to crop up in the coming months.
