- iPhone SE 4’s renders have emerged
- The images show that it will look identical to the iPhone XR
- It features a notched display with slim bezels
iPhone SE 4 is said to be in the works. The previously released iPhone SE models sported a design similar to older iPhones. For instance, the iPhone SE (2022) looks identical to the iPhone 8 as it has thick bezels at the top and bottom and a Home button integrated with a Touch ID sensor. It is an outdated design, as even entry-level Android phones with a waterdrop notch display design offer a higher screen-to-body ratio.
Rumours surrounding the fourth-generation iPhone SE have revealed that its design will be different from the previously released iPhone SE models. Popular tipster Jon Prosser has now released the renders of the iPhone SE 4. The images have been created based on the rumours surrounding the device. The renders reveal that the iPhone SE 4 will sport the same design as the iPhone XR.
iPhone SE 4 renders
To recall, the first-generation iPhone SE was based on the iPhone 5S that debuted in 2013, whereas the design of the iPhone SE 2 and SE 3 was based on the iPhone 8 from 2018. The renders of the fourth-generation iPhone SE show that it has a big notch at the top and a single camera with LED flash on the back. Hence, the iPhone SE 4 looks identical to the iPhone XR 2018.
The previously released iPhone SE models featured a physical Home button. The iPhone SE 4 renders show that the device has slim bezels and does not feature a Home button. The renders show the iPhone S4 in black, white, and red colours. Prosser showed what the iPhone SE 4 looks like, but he didn’t say anything about its specifications.
iPhone SE 4 specifications (rumoured)
Past reports have claimed that the iPhone SE 4 will feature a 6.1-inch LCD display. The big notch on the screen is unlikely to feature the complex sensors for 3D facial recognition. Instead, the iPhone SE 4 may arrive as the company’s first handset with a side-facing fingerprint sensor. The handset may feature the Apple A16 or A15 Bionic chip. The rest of the phone is under wraps.
