iPhone X Spotted on Geekbench Ahead of Launch

Ahead of today’s iPhone launch event, the iPhone X has been spotted on performance benchmark site Geekbench. The listing was first spotted by Slash Leaks. The Geekbench listing is code-named iPhone 10,5 and going by the scores, it is evident that the results are supposedly of the upcoming iPhone X.

As per the listing, the iPhone X scores the highest ever single-core score of 4061 and a multi-core score of 9959. If the listing turns out to be true, the iPhone X will replace the iPhone 7 Plus from the top position of iOS Benchmarks. Talking about Android Benchmarks, the Samsung Galaxy S8 tops the list with a score of 1965 for single-core and 6495 for multi-core processing. The listing further reveals that the phone will sport a 3GB of RAM and is shown to be running iOS 11. Rumour has it, the iPhone X will be powered by A11 chipset comprising six cores. 

The tenth anniversary iPhone has been the most anticipated iPhone and the launch is just a few hours away. The smartphone will run the latest version of iOS – iOS 11 and should tentatively be available by the end of October. The iPhone X should start from $900 and max out well over the thousand dollar mark. As per the benchmark results, the iPhone looks astonishingly good when compared to its counterpart and this will certainly reflect in real time use.
