IQAir HealthPro 250 air purifier: specifications and features

IQAir HealthPro 250 air purifier

The IQAir Health Pro 250 air purifier features a three-step filtration process

The IQAir Health Pro 250 air purifier comes with the PreMax pre-filter that removes pollen, pet dander and spores from the air. Next, there is a VS-Cell Gas and Odour filter which contains activated carbon to remove gaseous particles by adsorption. For lightweight compounds, this filter houses a chemisorber which uses oxidation to remove formaldehyde and the like. The final stage in the filtration process includes a HyperHEPA Filter to eliminate, fine, ultra-fine particles and viruses, bacteria and combustion particles. This filter guarantees a minimum efficiency of 99.5 percent and claims to remove particles that are 0.003 microns in size.

Adding to its features, the IQAir HealthPro 250 purifier produces 7 percent less sound while operating. It features a modular tower design which ensures easy access to all filters. It requires 20W of power at minimum fan speed and 135W when the speed is maximum. Moreover, the purifier plays host to a 3D UltraSeal that averts leakage and contributes to practical efficiency, according to the brand. With a rating of 1200 m³/h, the fan on this appliance purportedly outlasts other fans.

Furthermore, there are six fan speeds to choose from and users can program automatic operation through the day/night timer option. The intelligent filter-life monitor precisely forecasts filter replacement and colour-coded lights tells when it is time to change each filter. An InFlow ducting kit to draw fresh air can be connected to this air purifier. The filtration process purifies this air and supplies the same in the indoor environment.
