The iQOO 10 Pro was certified by the TENAA telecom authority in China in June. The certification revealed all the major specifications of the device. Like its predecessor, the 10 Pro may have an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor built into the screen.
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset will power the iQOO 10 Pro. Some reports have revealed that there will be a Dimensity SoC variant of the device, which will come equipped with the Dimensity 9000+. The iQOO 10 Pro will arrive with 6GB / 8GB / 12GB / 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 128GB / 256GB / 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device will come preinstalled with the Android 12 OS, which will be overlaid with the iQOO UI.
The iQOO 10 Pro will pack a 4,550mAh battery. Rumours are rife that it will debut as the world’s first smartphone to arrive with support for 120W fast charging. This charging technology is said to fully charge the device in just 12 minutes. It is expected to support 65W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.
The iQOO 10 Pro will be equipped with a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Its rear camera setup will have a 50-megapixel main camera with gimbal-OIS stabilisation, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 14.6-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The above image released by the brand showcases the dual-tone design of the iQOO 10 series. While the upper part of the device has a glossy glass-like finish, the remaining portion has a leather finish.
