[Exclusive] iQOO 11 Legend will be the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phone to launch globally later this month

iQOO 11 Legend will be the first smartphone featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform to release in the global market, Pricebaba has learned through a reputed tipster. At present, multiple smartphone OEMs in China are gearing up to launch the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered smartphone. It appears that the Vivo X90 Pro+, debuting on November 22nd, 2022, will be the first phone to feature the SD8G2 chip. Following the X90 Pro+, phones such as the Xiaomi 13 series, Moto X40, iQOO 11 series, and OnePlus 11 with SD8G2 are expected this year.

As far as the global market is concerned, the iQOO 11 will be the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phone to release in the global market. We have also obtained iQOO 11’s launch date for the global market.

We learned from a reliable source that the iQOO 11 Legend might debut this month after November 25th. The global launch may take place on November 27th or November 29th.

Through our sources, we have also learnt that in the global market, the iQOO 11 Legend will be available in two configurations: 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage and 16 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. The 16GB RAM variant will be specifically available in the overseas market. At the moment, we can’t say for sure if the 16GB+256GB version will be sold in India.

The iQOO brand is currently available in China, India, and Malaysia. iQOO is yet to tease the iQOO 11 series in India. Hence, there is a possibility that the above-mentioned launch date could be for Malaysia.

Rumors have it that the iQOO 11 will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with support for an FHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The flat display will come equipped with an under-display fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, the iQOO 11 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of storage.

The device is expected to feature a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and a 50-megapixel (main) + 13-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 12-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera unit. It will come preloaded with Android 13 OS. It is likely to house a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging.
