- It will offer 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage
iQOO 12 specifications have emerged in a recent post by reliable Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station. The iQOO 12 series will arrive as the successor to the iQOO 11 5G and the iQOO 11 Pro 5G, which were announced in December last year. As it is known, the iQOO 11 Pro remained exclusive to the Chinese market, whereas the vanilla model was made available in different markets. Hence, it is not sure whether the iQOO 12 and 12 Pro will both be made available in the global market.
Qualcomm is expected to announce the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, its next-generation flagship chipset for mobile devices, in October 2022. Rumours are rife that the iQOO 12 series will be unveiled in November or December of this year in China. Here is a look at the specifications of the iQOO 12 that have emerged via tipster DCS.
iQOO 12 specifications (rumoured)
As per the leak, the iQOO 12 will have a flat OLED display that offers a 2K resolution. The tipster claimed that it will flaunt a new screen that will also support high-frequency dimming.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered flagship phone will ship with 16GB of RAM and come in storage options like 512GB and 1TB. In all likelihood, the device will be equipped with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
The tipster further revealed that the iQOO 12 will be equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera on the back. However, he did not share any information on the front camera or auxiliary snappers of the iQOO 12. He added that the camera module will be placed at the upper-left corner of the back panel. According to the tipster, the brand is still considering different rear designs for the iQOO 12. Hence, it is yet to finalise a design for the back panel.
At present, there is no word on the India launch for the iQOO 12. Since the iQOO 11 5G was announced in January this year in India, it is likely that its successor will break cover in January 2024 in the country.
