Earlier this year, Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO announced that it will be foraying into India’s smartphone market soon. While the company didn’t reveal the name of its first handset for the country, it is expected to be the iQOO 3. The brand had revealed that its first phone in India will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. Furthermore, the company said that its handset will be the country’s first phone with support for 5G networks, but didn’t reveal a launch date. However, now a report by 91mobiles suggests that iQOO will be launching its first handset in the country at an event on February 25th.

Talking about the features, iQOO China recently posted a teaser for the iQOO 3 on the social networking website Weibo. The poster from the brand has revealed a few details regarding the design and features of the handset. As seen in the image, the iQOO 3 will have a 3.5mm headphone socket on top alongside the secondary microphone. The device has a red-coloured power button on the right side. There’s also seems to be a touch-sensitive button in the corner.
The image also shows that the iQOO 3 will feature a quad-camera setup on the back, which will be housed inside a square module. The camera module isn’t clearly visible in the official poster. However, the clear image posted below is from a Chinese tipster, which suggests that the handset will have four cameras on the back, with a 48MP sensor being the primary lens.

As for the other details, a recent listing of the iQOO 3 on TENAA suggested that the handset will have a 6.44-inch full HD+ display. The Snapdragon 865 processor of the device will be paired with 6GB / 8GB / 12GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB of storage. The handset is also expected to offer a 4,410mAh battery that could offer support for 55W fast charging.,

As of now, there’s no official word regarding the price of the iQOO 3 for India. However, a report by The Mobile Indin suggests that the handset will come in 4G and 5G variants, which will be priced at Rs 35,000 and at around Rs 40,000.
