The iQOO 7 5G smartphone will also launch alongside the iQOO 7 Legend 5G in India on April 26th. A dedicated landing page for the iQOO 7 is now available on Amazon India. The listing has revealed a few specifications of the smartphone.
The iQOO 7 posters available on the retailer site show that it will be sporting a punch-hole display on the front. Its rear shell has a vertical triple camera system. The handset will be available in two colours like black and blue. It appears the iQOO 7 5G is a rebadged version of the iQOO Neo5, which went official in February in China.
iQOO 7 5G features the Snapdragon 870 chipset
Th iQOO 7 5G’s microsite confirms that it is powered by the Snapdragon 870. It is a flagship chipset that sits below the Snapdragon 888, which fuels the iQOO 7 Legend 5G. The company has also revealed that it is equipped with an intelligent display chip for MEMC frame rate interpolation and real-time SDR-to-HDR conversion.
The display chip not only promises an enhanced viewing experience but also can level up the gaming experience through enhanced frame rate and all-time HDR. For smoother performance, the handset will offer users extended RAM functionality and UFS 3.1 storage.
iQOO 7 5G specifications and features (expected)
The iQOO 7 5G could feature a 6.62-inch AMOLED panel that offers FHD+ resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset is expected to run iQOO UI based on Android 11. The Snapdragon 870 SoC could be equipped with LPDDR4x RAM.
The smartphone may house a 4,400mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. It may feature a 16-megapixel front camera and its rear camera setup may comprise of a Sony IMX589 48-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For security, it is likely to feature an in-display fingerprint scanner.
