iQOO 7 is likely to launch soon in India. The reason behind it is that iQOO India has teased the arrival of a new flagship phone powered by the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform. Since the iQOO 7 is the only phone from the brand with the latest chipset, we can assume that it will be launching in India.

The Indian variant of the iQOO 7 was recently spotted at the Geekbench benchmarking platform and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) in the recent past. These findings have also indicated that the iQOO 7 will be launching soon in India. The poster released by the brand does not mention the launch date of the device but does carry a hint on its pricing.

iQOO India’s tweet suggests that the upcoming Snapdragon 888 powered flagship phone for India will be priced under Rs 40,000. With better specifications onboard, the iQOO 7 could be priced between Rs 37,990 and Rs 39,990.
In China, it was launched with a price tag of RMB 3,798 (~Rs 42,300) for the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant. Its 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage edition was priced at RMB 4,198 (~Rs 46,700).
iQOO 7 specifications and features
The iQOO 7 features a 6.62-inch FHD+ display with a top-centered punch-hole. The AMOLED display offers a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint reader. The phone runs OriginOS based on Android 11.
The Snapdragon 888 mobile platform is accompanied by LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage on the device. It has a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery, which supports 120W fast charging. The performance-driven phone features VC liquid cooling technology for heat dissipation.
The iQOO 7 has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Its rear camera setup has a Sony IMX589 48-megapixel primary lens, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, and a 13-megapixel depth sensor.
