The iQOO 7 5G and iQOO 7 Legend 5G have launched in India today. The performance-driven smartphones are packed with top-end specs and are designed to rival affordable flagships such as the OnePlus 9 series and the Xiaomi Mi 11X lineup.

The iQOO 7 5G and iQOO 7 Legend 5G flagship phones are equipped with 120Hz displays. They are powered by the most powerful Snapdragon 8-series mobile chipsets and come with up to 12GB of RAM. Both phones feature 48-megapixel triple rear cameras and 66W fast charging.

iQOO 7 Legend 5G price in India and availability

The iQOO 7 Legend 5G comes in two models like 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. It has been designed in partnership with BMW M Motorsport. The device features a white back panel with red, blue, and black stripes reminiscent of the BMW brand.

The iQOO 7 5G and iQOO 7 Legend 5G will be sold exclusively through Amazon Indi and iQOO India’s online store. The pre-orders of both phones will begin on May 1st. iQOO will soon confirm the sale date for both smartphones.

Customers can own the iQOO 7 5G with a starting price of Rs 27,990 by taking advantage of offers like Rs 2,000 off on ICICI Bank credit and EMI transactions, and a Rs 2,000 flat discount with Amazon coupons. On the other hand, the iQOO 7 Legend 5G buyers can benefit from pre-order offers like Rs 3,000 off on ICICI Bank credit and EMI transactions, and a Rs 2,000 flat discount with Amazon coupons. The iQOO 7 5G can be availed with up to 6 months of cost EMI, whereas the Legend model can be bought with up to 9 months of no-cost EMI.

The iQOO 7 5G and iQOO 7 Legend 5G feature 6.62-inch S-AMOLED displays with Full HD+ resolution, 1,300 nits brightness, a 6,000,000:1 contrast ratio, HDR10+ support, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 300Hz touch sampling rate, and 100Hz instant touch sampling rate. The iQOO 7 5G features an intelligent display chip that offers features like game frame interpolation (MEMC), lower power consumption and heating, and all-HDR, which can convert SDR images to HDR quality. The centrally aligned punch-hole display is integrated with an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

The Snapdragon 870 mobile platform is present under the hood of the iQOO 7 5G. On the other hand, the iQOO 7 Legend 5G has the more powerful Snapdragon 888 SoC. Both phones offer users up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. For a smoother experience, while accessing apps, both smartphones are deliver users 3GB of extended RAM.

The iQOO 7 5G has a 4,400mAh battery, whereas the Legend edition has a 4,000mAh battery. Both smartphones support 66W FlashCharge technology. iQOO claims that the iQOO 7 can charge completely in 30 minutes, while it takes 22 minutes to fully charge the Legend model. The iQOO 7 duo has a liquid-cooling system for heat dissipation.

For enhanced gaming, the iQOO Legend 5G features a dual linear motor for in-game vibrations along with a feature called in-display monster touch, which lets the display respond to pressure on each side or together like pressing conventional shoulder buttons. Both smartphones are fitted with large amplitude dual speakers for surround sound stereo effect.

For selfies, the iQOO 7 5G and iQOO 7 Legend 5G feature a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Both phones feature a rear-mounted triple camera system, which comprises a customised Sony IMX598 48-megapixel lens with OIS support as the primary camera and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree FOV which can also double as a macro lens. The iQOO 7 features a 2-megapixel mono lens as the third camera, while the Legend gets a 50mm 13-megapixel portrait lens as the third shooter. The iQOO 7 series offers photography features like Extreme Night Vision, Super Night Mode, Super Night Pano, Pro Sports Mode, and Double Exposure.

The iQOO 7 series runs FunTouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11. Both handsets offer other features like dual SIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi 5 (Wi-Fi 6 on Legend), Bluetooth 5.1 (5.2 on Legend), dual-frequency GPS, and USB Type-C. As far as design is concerned, iQOO 7 models have AG matte glass that prevents fingerprints and smudges.
