iQOO 7 Legend to launch in India this month, design and pricing revealed

The iQOO 7 series has been officially teased in India today. Last month, it teased a new iQOO phone with Snapdragon 888 chipset for the Indian market. Today, iQOO India Director Gagan Arora gave an exclusive look at the upcoming iQOO 7 Legend smartphone in an interview with popular YouTube Technical Guruji.

In the past three months, iQOO has launched several smartphones such as the iQOO 7, iQOO Neo5, iQOO Z3, and iQOO U3x in China. Based on the information shared by Arora, iQOO is expected to launch multiple smartphones in India this year.

During the interview, Arora revealed that the company is planning to two smartphones as a part of the iQOO 7 series. He added the other iQOO phones arriving this year will be released across different price points. All the upcoming iQOO phones will offer the best performance, immersive gaming experience, and impressive design and cameras, as per the brand.

The iQOO India Director also said that iQOO phones will be manufactured in India at Vivo’s facility. In addition, select Vivo service centers will provide service to owners of iQOO smartphones.

The iQOO 7 Legend, which was shown during the interview, sports a white coloured rear with red and blue stripes. The design of the phone is inspired by the company’s partnership with BMW Motorsport. The squarish camera island of the phone is fitted with three cameras. Arora added that the iQOO 7 Legend with Snapdragon 888 will debut with sub-Rs 40,000 pricing. It will launch around the end of this month.

The iQOO Neo5, which debuted in China last month is also a flagship phone powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset. Reports have revealed that the iQOO 7 and Neo5 have both received BIS certifications in India. Hence, there is a possibility that the Neo5 may end up as an iQOO 7 series phone in India.

iQOO 7 flagship will have a new brand ambassador in India

Last year, iQOO released the iQOO 3 4G and iQOO 3 5G smartphones in India. The handset was endorsed by Virat Kohli, the current captain of the Indian cricket team. The new teaser released by the brand today indicates that the company may sign up a new brand ambassador for the iQOO 7 series, likely a boxer.
