iQOO 8 and iQOO 8 Legend India launch could be drawing near. Earlier this month, 91mobiles reported that iQOO 8 Pro will be launching in October or early November. A fresh report by the publication claims that the vanilla iQOO 8 will also debut alongside the Pro model.

The company announced the iQOO 8 and iQOO 8 Pro in China back in August. The Pro model is likely to be rebranded as the iQOO 8 Legend in India. The iQOO 8 duo will be succeeding the iQOO 7 (review) and iQOO 7 Legend, which debuted in April this year.

iQOO is expected to start teasing the iQOO 8 and iQOO 8 Legend in the coming days. Now that only a few days are remaining in this month, the iQOO 8 lineup is likely to break cover in November.  The iQOO 8 and 8 Legend may feature the same specs that were made available on their Chinese editions.

The iQOO 8 has a 6.56-inch AMOLED display that offers Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 888 mobile platform fuels the device with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

It has a 16-megapixel front camera, and a 50-megapixel (main) + 13-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 13-megapixel (telephoto) triple camera unit on the back. The device houses a 4,350mAh battery.

On the other hand, the iQOO 8 Legend has a larger 6.78-inch AMOLED LTPO panel with curved edges. It produces an FHD resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 888 Plus powers the iQOO 8 Legend with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

For selfies, it has a 16-megapixel front camera, and its back panel has a 50-megapixel (Sony IMX766, with gimbal OIS) + 48-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 16-megapixel (telephoto with OIS) triple camera system. It is packed with a 4,500mAh battery. Both models have common features such as support for 120W fast charging, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, and Android 11.
