Amazon has put up a dedicated microsite of the iQOO 9 series confirming the availability of smartphones on the e-commerce platform. Earlier this month, YouTuber Technical Guruji had shared live images and information of the upcoming devices.
iQOO 9 series specifications and features (expected)
The iQOO 9 series debuted in China last month and the Indian variants are expected to come with the same specifications. The Vivo sub-brand is confirmed to partner with automaker BMW for the iQOO 9 Pro. The device will come with a large horizontal rectangular camera module and Red, Black and Blue stripes on the back panel. Meanwhile, the regular iQOO 9 will feature a textured back panel with a vertical rectangular camera island.
The live images shared by Technical Guruji reveals that the smartphones will sport triple rear cameras. The iQOO 9 and 9 Pro sport 120Hz AMOLED panels bearing an FHD+ 6.56-inch and QHD+ 6.78-inch displays respectively. The former comes with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner whereas the latter is equipped with an optical scanner.
The iQOO 9 and 9 Pro are expected to be powered by Snapdragon 888+ and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processors respectively. They will pack up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Both devices are confirmed to support 120W fast charging.
As for the iQOO 9 SE, it will be an affordable flagship with Snapdragon 888 SoC. It will have a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED display and a 120Hz refresh rate. Other details about the smartphone remain a mystery at the moment.
As per reports, the iQOO 9 Pro Indian variant seems to be the same as its Chinese counterpart. The regular variant is expected to be a rebranded version of the iQOO 8 that didn’t debut in India. Lastly, the iQOO 9 SE could be a rebadged iQOO Neo 5S in China.
