iQOO 9T 5G unboxing video appeared on YouTube yesterday. The video released by popular YouTuber Tech Burner has been taken down. The screenshots from the video are now being shared on social platforms. The premature hands-on video of the iQOO 9T 5G revealed its design and some of its key specifications.
iQOO announced the iQOO 9 SE, iQOO 9, and iQOO 9 Pro flagship phones with Snapdragon 8-series chipsets a few months ago in India. The upcoming iQOO 9T 5G will reportedly feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 mobile platform.
iQOO 9T 5G hands-on video
The iQOO 9T 5G unboxing video revealed that its black rectangle-shaped retail box will comprise the handset, a transparent case, a USB Type-C charging cable, a 120W charger, a USB Type-C to 3.5mm adapter, a SIM ejector tool, and some documents. The video also revealed that the device will be available in the BMW Motorsport edition (white) and in black. Both variants sport a dual-tone design.
The lower part of iQOO 9T 5G’s white variant has BMW Motorsport-inspired tri-colour stripes running off-centre down. It also features a blue-coloured power button. The black variant’s lower part has a matte finish. The iQOO 9T 5G sports a glass back and metallic frame. Around the edges, it has a power button, a volume rocker, a speaker grille, a USB Type-C port, and a SIM card slot. The front side of the device features an AMOLED display with a centred punch-hole and an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
The iQOO 9T 5G hands-on video showed that it will have the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile chipset, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a triple camera unit with a 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 primary camera. The cameras of the 9T will be coupled with the Vivo V1+ image processing chip. The device will also carry support for Motion Estimation Motion Compensation (MEMC).
iQOO 9T 5G specifications (rumoured)
Past reports have claimed that the iQOO 9T 5G will house a 6.78-inch AMOLED E5 FHD+ 120Hz display, a 16-megapixel front camera, and a 50-megapixel (main) + 13-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 12 -megapixel (telephoto) triple camera unit with 40x digital zoom.
It will be available in two configurations: 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. It will run on the Android 12 OS and pack a 4,700mAh battery. It is speculated that the 9T could be a tweaked or rebadged version of the iQOO 10 5G, which will launch on July 19th, 2022, in China.
iQOO 9T 5G launch date, price in India (rumoured)
Several reports have claimed that the iQOO 9T 5G will debut by July end in India. Some have even speculated that its launch event could be held on July 28th, 2022. Since the iQOO 9T will be an inferior device in terms of cameras and charging capabilities as compared iQOO 9 Pro, it may could be positioned lower than the Pro model, which is currently selling for Rs 64,990. Hence, it appears that the 9T could be priced under Rs 60,000. The device will be sold through Amazon India apart from iQOO India’s website.
