iQOO 9T with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 tipped to launch in India next month

iQOO 9T key specifications and launch date in India have been tipped. Publication 91Mobiles learned about the development from industry sources.

The iQOO 9T will be the fourth device in the iQOO 9 series after the standard, Pro, and SE models that debuted in the country earlier in February this year. We can expect the upcoming iQOO 9T to come with incremental upgrades. 

iQOO 9T India launch tipped

As per 91Mobiles, the iQOO 9T is expected to launch in India next month i.e. July. The device will reportedly be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor making it among the first phones in the country with the said chipset. OnePlus is expected to debut the OnePlus 10T with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 in the country next month. The processor was announced last month and offers 10 percent faster CPU and GPU performance. 

As for the core specifications, the iQOO 9T is expected to come with a 120Hz AMOLED display. It is rumoured to support 120W fast charging. Apart from this, there is no additional information on the iQOO 9T yet, but we can expect it to surface on the web in the coming weeks. 

Meanwhile, iQOO is gearing up to launch its next-generation iQOO 10 series in China next month. As per leaks, the iQOO 10 Pro is rumoured to feature a QHD+ AMOLED LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. The smartphone is tipped to be backed by a 4,700mAh battery cell with support for a whopping 200W wired charging.
