iQOO Neo 6 India launch has been confirmed. On May 31st, 2022, the company will be announcing it as the company’s first Neo-branded smartphone in the country. After the launch, the handset will be available for purchase through iQOO India and Amazon.

The official teasers have revealed that the iQOO Neo 6 will come equipped with the Snapdragon 870 chipset. It will pack a 4,700mAh battery that supports 80W FlashCharge technology. According to iQOO, the 80W fast charging tech can completely charge the Neo 6’s 4,700mAh battery to 50 percent capacity in just 12 minutes. The iQOO Neo 6 will house a 6.62-inch AMOLED screen that offers a Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The front side of the device will feature a 16-megapixel selfie camera, and its back panel will sport a 64-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit.
The smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC will have 8GB/12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It will come with a 4,700mAh dual-cell battery with 80W rapid charging support. It will come preinstalled with the Android 12 OS featuring the FunTouchOS UI on top.
In April, iQOO launched the iQOO Neo 6 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 flagship chipset in China. Earlier this month, it unveiled the Snapdragon 870 powered iQOO Neo 6 SE in the home market. It looks like the Neo 6 that will be sold in India will be a rebranded version of the Neo 6 sold in China.

The iQOO Neo 6 is rumoured to be priced at around Rs 30,000. As can be seen in the official teaser, it will be available in two colours: Dark Nova and Interstellar.
