iQOO Neo 6 is set to launch in China next week. The smartphone will debut in the country on April 13th. It will arrive as the successor to the iQOO Neo 5 that was launched in March last year.

Ahead of the launch, iQOO has teased the upcoming Neo 6 on the microblogging platform Weibo. It reveals the smartphone’s back panel design as well as some camera details. The device has been already spotted on Geekbench and TENNA with model number V2196A.

iQOO Neo 6 design teased ahead of launch
The teaser video shared by iQOO reveals that the Neo 6 will be equipped with a horizontal rectangular camera island. The module houses two big sensors, a small lens, and a LED flash unit. The text on the camera module confirms that the upcoming offering will come with support for optical image stabilisation (OIS).
The teaser also reveals the iQOO Neo 6 in an Orange colour option with a vegan leather finish. We can expect more colour variants with a glass back panel at launch. Apart from this, iQOO hasn’t revealed any additional details about the Neo 6 smartphone.
On the Geekbench benchmarking platform, the iQOO Neo 6 is listed with a motherboard codenamed ‘taro’ that is associated with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The device packs 12GB RAM and runs on Android 12 out of the box. On the other hand, as per the TENAA certification, the iQOO Neo 6 will feature a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. It will reportedly be powered by a 4,700mAh battery unit and support 80W fast charging.
