iQOO Neo 7 Pro rear design, new colour variant teased before launch

Highlights

  • iQOO Neo 7 Pro is expected to launch on June 20th, 2023, in India
  • Ahead of its launch, the company has teased its rear design
  • It is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip

iQOO Neo 7 Pro’s design has been teased. The company has been gradually teasing the arrival of the smartphone for the past few days. The device will pack more powerful specs than the Dimensity 8200-powered iQOO Neo 7, which was announced in February of this year.

The official renders of the device have yet to be released. However, iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya shared an image that offers a glimpse of its rear design. It suggests that the device could be a rebranded version of the iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition, which was announced in December 2022.

iQOO Neo 7 Pro design

The upcoming iQOO Neo 7 Pro with the underclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip was recently tested on Geekbench. This gave birth to rumours that it could be a rebranded version of the iQOO Neo 8, which was announced in May, or the iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition since both feature the same Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip.

The provided teaser reveals that the iQOO Neo 7 Pro features a square-shaped camera module, similar to the one found on the iQOO Neo 7 Racing Edition. Notably, there is a horizontal line within the camera island, adding to the resemblance between the two designs. Hence, it appears that the Neo 7 Pro will not be a rebranded version of the Neo 8 but of the Neo 7 Racing Edition.

The image also hints that it will be available in an orange-like colour. Here is a look at the official renders and the specifications of the Racing Edition model.
