iQOO Neo5 Lite has launched in China. It is a toned-down variant of the Neo5 that had debuted this March in the country. The latest offering is equipped with the same processor as its standard variant, however, the device comes with slightly different specs.
The iQOO Neo5 Lite is also priced cheaper than the standard iQOO Neo5. Let’s take a look to find out what the smartphone offers out of the box.
iQOO Neo 5 Lite specifications and features
The iQOO Neo5 Lite comes with a 6.57-inch FHD+ LCD display instead of AMOLED panel on the regular variant. The latest offering also features a 144Hz refresh rate and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner compared to 120Hz and an in-screen sensor on the standard model.
The iQOO Neo5 Lite sports a triple rear camera setup comprising of a 48MP main sensor, 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro unit. The device comes with a 16MP front-facing snapper for selfies.
Under the hood, the iQOO Neo5 Lite is powered by a Snapdragon 870 processor paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. It is equipped with a liquid cooling system for heat dissipation and the device uses 3GB storage space as RAM through fusion memory technology. The smartphone is backed by a 4,500mAh battery unit with support for 44W fast charging. It runs on Android 11 out of the box.
Connectivity options on the iQOO Neo5 Lite include a USB-C port, 5G, WiFi 6 and a 3.5mm jack.
iQOO Neo 5 Lite pricing and availability
The iQOO Neo5 Lite costs RMB 2,299 (~Rs 26,073) for the base 8GB + 128GB variant and RMB 2,499 (~Rs 28,342) for the 8GB + 256GB option. The higher 12 GB + 256GB configuration carries a price tag of RMB 2,699 (~Rs 30,610). It is offered in Polar Night Black and Ice Peak White colours.
