The iQOO U3x Standard Edition smartphone has been launched in China. The phone is a new chipset variant of the iQOO U3x handset, which was announced back in March. While the U3x is a 5G-ready phone, the Standard Edition model is a 4G LTE device.
The new U-series phone from iQOO has a waterdrop notch display, just like the iQOO U3x. It is driven by the Helio G80 gaming-focused chip and it houses a massive battery with fast charging support. For photography, it is fitted with a 13-megapixel dual camera unit.
iQOO U3x Standard Edition specifications and features
The iQOO U3x Standard Edition has a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display that offers HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 1500:1 contrast ratio. The display notch houses an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
The rear camera unit comprises a 13-megapixel main camera with an f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an LED flash. It offers photography features like portrait mode, selfie beauty, video beauty, and 30fps 1080p video recording.
Instead of the Snapdragon 480 found on the U3x, its Standard Edition features the Helio G80 chip. The handset offers users 4GB / 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM. Both RAM variants offer 128GB of built-in eMMC 5.1 storage and a dedicated microSD card slot.
The 5,000mAh battery of the iQOO U3x Standard Edition supports 18W dual-engine fast charging. The device ships with iQOO UI based on Android 11. Other features include dual-SIM, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, microUSB, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The U3x Standard Edition comes in 4GB RAM + 128GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variants. They are priced at RMB 899 (~Rs 10,200) and RMB 1,099 (~Rs 12,500) respectively. The phone comes in colours like Light Black and Morning Frost White.
