iQOO U5x has been launched in China. The device is a toned-down variant of the iQOO U5 5G that debuted in the country last December. The latest offering comes with the same design but different specifications.

iQOO U5x specifications and features
The iQOO U5x comes with a 6.51-inch LCD display bearing an HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch. There is an 8MP front-facing selfie camera. The device features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. The back panel has a gradient design with vertical stripes. It houses a rectangular camera module with a 13MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary snapper.
The iQOO U5x is equipped with a Snapdragon 680 processor. It is available in 4GB and 8GB RAM options with both packing 128GB native storage. There is a microSD card slot for additional storage needs. The smartphone draws its power from a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 10W fast charging. It runs on OriginOS based on Android 11.
iQOO U5x pricing and availability
The iQOO U5x costs RMB 849 (~Rs 11,000) for the base 4GB + 128GB option whereas the 8GB + 128GB model is priced at RMB 1,049 (~Rs 12,500). The smartphone is available in Polar Black and Star Blue colours and can be purchased in China. There is no word on the iQOO U5x’s international availability.
