iQOO recently confirmed that its upcoming Z-series smartphone called iQOO Z1 will go official on May 19th. This is the same smartphone that’s speculated to be the launchpad for MediaTek’s recently unveiled flagship Dimensity 1000+ 5G chipset. A couple of live images also turned up online recently, giving us a glimpse of the punch-hole display.
The leak revealed that the smartphone will feature a 144Hz display and let users switch between refresh rate options like 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz and 144Hz. Now, the official Weibo handle of iQOO has posted several official renders of the smartphone revealing the design and the colour variants. Let’s take a look.
iQOO Z1 official renders released
The official promotional renders shared by the brand reveal that the phone will have glossy gradient design and square edges. We can see two colour options – White and Dark Blue, which iQOO is calling Galaxy Silver and Space Blue as per the Chinese text in the post. We can see that the smartphone has a rectangular quad-camera island in the top left corner of the back panel with triple camera setup and LED flash on top.
However, there is no fingerprint scanner on the rear panel. The smartphone is seen sporting a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button on the right edge just below the volume rockers. We don’t get a glimpse of the bottom edge, but it’s safe to assume that the smartphone will feature a USB Type-C port and speaker grill. The launch poster of the handset has already confirmed that the smartphone will come with a punch-hole display.
iQOO Z1 price revealed by a promotional poster
A promotional poster of the Vivo iQOO Z1 in a store has also been spotted online revealing the pricing of the handset. According to the image, the 6GB + 128GB model will allegedly be priced at RMB 2,498 (~Rs 26,600). However, the poster seems to be partially hidden and there could be other variants as well.
