iQOO Z3 has launched in China as the latest Z-series smartphone from the brand. The latest smartphone is a mid-range gaming device with a 120Hz display, Snapdragon 786G chipset, and 55W fast charging. From the looks of it, the iQOO Z3 appears to be a beefed-up variant of the recently-launched Vivo Y72 5G.
The affordable 5G smartphone flaunts a five-fold liquid-cooled system, which Vivo claims can drop the chipset’s temperature by 10 degrees. The smartphone has been launched in three configurations and starts from around Rs 18,800 in China. Let’s take a look at its specifications.
iQOO Z3 specifications and features
The iQOO Z3 is fitted with a 6.58-inch LCD display with 2,408 x 1,080 (FHD+) screen resolution. The waterdrop notch display offers a 120Hz refresh rate with features like 96 percent NTSC colour gamut and HDR support. The handset boots Android 11-based Origin OS 11 out of the box and features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
As for cameras, there’s a triple camera setup on the rear with a 64-megapixel primary sensor. The main camera is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 2-megapixel macro lens. In the front, there’s a 16-megapixel camera to shoot selfies and video calling.
At the core, the iQOO Z3 feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 786G processor, which comes with integrated support for 5G networks. The chipset is paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. Powering the smartphone is a 4,400mAh battery, which comes with 55W fast charging support.
iQOO Z3 pricing and availability
The iQOO Z3 comes in three RAM and storage configurations including 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. These variants are priced at ~Rs 18,800, ~Rs 20,000, and ~Rs 22,100. iQOO is offering the handset in Deep Space Black, Cloud Oxygen Blue, and Nebula Gradient colours.
As of now, the iQOO Z3 is up for pre-orders in China and will go on sale starting April 1st. There’s no word on the India launch currently.
