iQOO Z5’s official renders have emerged to reveal its appearance. The handset is scheduled to debut in China on September 23rd, and it will be also launching in India on September 27th. However, it is unclear whether the Indian variant will be exactly the same or a slightly different version of the Z5 heading to China. Before its official announcement, iQOO’s China wing shared the official renders to showcase its design and colour variants.
The iQOO Z5 will be arriving as the successor to the iQOO Z3 that debuted in India and China in the first half of this year. The handset is expected to have specs like a 120Hz refresh rate display, Snapdragon 778G chipset, and 64-megapixel triple cameras.
iQOO Z5 design and colour variants
The iQOO Z5 renders show that it will be available in at least three colours such as white, black, and a gradient blue model with a striped design. It has a rectangular camera module that houses a 64-megapixel triple camera unit and an LED flash.
The top view of the iQOO Z5 shows that it will feature a 3.5mm audio jack. Its right edge has a volume rocker and a power button, which is integrated with a fingerprint scanner. While the front side is not shown in the new renders, some of the other teasers have revealed that it will feature a center-aligned punch-hole camera on the display.
iQOO Z5 specifications (expected)
The iQOO Z5 heading to China has an LCD panel that produces Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It may house a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. While it has a 64-megapixel main camera on the back, the details of its remaining cameras are not known yet.
The Snapdragon 778G chipset along with LPPDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage will be powering the Z5. It will draw power from a 5,000mAh battery that is expected to arrive with support for 44W fast charging. The Z5 will also feature dual stereo speakers that will support Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless.
