Since the Z5 is scheduled to go official on September 23rd in China, it may launch in India by the end of the month or in early October. Reports have claimed that the Z5 lineup will include the iQOO Z5, Z5 Pro, and Z5x. It is unclear whether the Pro and Z5x models will be releasing in India.

iQOO Z5 specifications and features (expected)

The official teasers released by iQOO China confirm that the iQOO Z5 will be featuring the Snapdragon 778G chipset, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage.

Recently, a Vivo phone with a V2148A model number was spotted at China’s 3C and TENAA certification sites, Geekbench, and Google Play Console. These listings and other rumours have revealed that it will feature a 120Hz LCD panel, SD778G chip, 8GB of RAM, 128GB / 256GB of storage, a 64-megapixel triple camera unit, Android 11, a 5,000mAh battery, 44W fast charging, and a side-facing fingerprint scanner.

Interestingly, this phone was spotted with the iQOO Z5 Pro moniker at the IMEI database. Hence, there is a possibility that the iQOO Z5 and Z5 Pro could feature similar specs.
