iQOO Z5 has launched in China today. Prior to launch, the smartphone’s key specifications and features had been revealed by the brand. The latest offering is also confirmed to launch in India on September 27th.

The iQOO Z5 has debuted as the successor to the iQOO Z3 that debuted in China and India earlier this year. It packs premium specifications including a punch-hole display with a high refresh rate, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a long-lasting battery. iQOO Z5 specifications and features
The iQOO Z5 boasts a centre-aligned punch-hole LCD display measuring 6.67-inches and FHD+ resolution. It features a 120Hz refresh rate, 650 nits brightness, and HDR10 support. The back panel features a gradient design housing a rectangular camera module and the power button doubles up as a fingerprint scanner.
In the imaging department, the iQOO Z5 sports a triple camera setup consisting of a 64MP main sensor paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro unit. The punch-hole cutout on the front accommodates a 16MP selfie snapper.
Under the hood, the iQOO Z5 is equipped with a Snapdragon 778G processor. It packs up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. The device is equipped with a VC liquid cooling system for heat dissipation. The smartphone draws its power from a 5,000mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging.
Connectivity options on the iQOO Z5 include a USB-C port, 5G, 4G VoLTE, 3.5mm headphone jack, WiFi-6, Bluetooth, and GPS.
iQOO Z5 pricing and availability
The iQOO Z5 starts at RMB 1,899 (~Rs 21,775) for the base 8GB + 128GB variant while the 8GB + 256GB option costs RMB 2,099 (~Rs 24,060) The higher 12GB + 256GB configuration carries a price tag of RMB 2,299(~Rs 26,362). The smartphone is offered in Twilight Dawn, Blue Origin and Dream Space colours. It will go on pre-sale in China from September 23rd with shipments commencing from September 28th.
