iQOO is known for its performance-centric smartphones. The company recently unveiled its latest iQOO Z7 5G in India, which as per the company’s claims, is Amazon’s highest-selling phone on the launch day. It packs powerful features like MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor, a 90Hz refresh rate AMOLED display, a 64MP OIS camera, 44W fast charging, and more. However, just after its launch, the company slashed the prices of its predecessor, the iQOO Z6 5G.
The iQOO Z6 5G was launched in March of last year. Despite being a year-old device, it is a solid all-rounder. The smartphone has a Snapdragon 695 processor, triple rear cameras, and more. Here’s how much it costs now:
iQOO Z6 5G’s new pricing and offers
The iQOO Z6 5G has three storage options: 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB. All the variants have received a price cut of Rs 1,000 and are now available for Rs 14,499, Rs 15,999, and Rs 16,999, respectively. ICICI bank and HDFC bank cardholders will get an additional discount of Rs 1,000.
iQOO Z6 5G Specifications
The iQOO Z6 5G flaunts a 6.58-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Beneath the display, it draws power from the Snapdragon 695 processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It runs on Android 12-based FunTouchOS 12 out of the box.
In terms of camera, the iQOO Z6 5G comes with 50MP + 2MP + 2MP triple rear camera setup and a 16MP selfie snapper. The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port.
Should you buy it?
The top-tier iQOO Z6 5G with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage is now cheaper than the entry-level iQOO Z7 5G variant, which comes with only 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. If you want more RAM at a lower price, then the iQOO Z6 5G is your smartphone. Apart from that, the iQOO Z7 5G is overall a better device as it comes with an AMOLED display, better SoC, and faster charging speed.
