Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO has launched a new mid-range smartphone in India, the iQOO Z6 Lite 5G. It joins the already available iQOO Z6 and Z6 Pro. The iQOO Z6 Lite 5G is noticeably the first smartphone in the world powered by Qualcomm’s brand new Snapdragon Gen 4 Gen 1 chipset. Other features of note include a 5,000mAh battery, 50MP ‘Eye Autofocus’ rear camera, Android 12, and 5G connectivity.
The Z6 Lite 5G features a 2.5D flat frame and is offered in two colours – Stellar Green and Mystic Night. The Stellar Green variant’s rear panel has a matte finish. It has a V-shaped ‘waterdop’ notch up front and a vertically arranged rear camera module with big camera housings.

Price, availability, and offers
The iQOO Z6 Lite 5G is available in two variants – one with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage for Rs 13,999 and one with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage priced at Rs 15,499. The smartphone will go on sale on 14 September 2022 at 12 PM on Amazon India and IQOO’s official Indian website.
To celebrate the upcoming festive season, IQOO has announced a Rs 2,500 discount on SBI Bank credit card and SBI Bank EMI transactions. As a result, the entry-level 4GB+64GB variant will be available for Rs 11,499 and the 6GB+128GB model for Rs 12,999. In addition, iQOO will also be offering a compatible 18W charger at just Rs 399. This offer is necessitated by the fact that the smartphone does not come with a charger in the box.

As mentioned above, the iQOO Z6 Lite 5G is powered by the new Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset, which is based on a 6nm process and supports up to 2.0Ghz clock speeds. The affordable 5G smartphone has a 6.58-inch Full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. Other specifications include up to 6GB RAM, up to 128GB internal storage which can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 1TB), and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.

On the imaging front, the Z6 Lite 5G has an 8MP selfie camera and two rear cameras – a 50MP ‘Eye Autofocus’ main sensor and a 2MP macro shooter. It runs Android 12 out of the box with FunTouch OS on top. iQOO has promised two years of major Android updates and three years of security patches.
