Transsion Holdings’ brand Itel has announced a new entry-level smartphone called the Itel A47 in India. The low-priced phone offers users with an 18:9 aspect ratio display. The front and rear cameras of the phone are equipped with multiple photography features. It is fueled by a quad-core processor and a decent battery.
The Itel A47 is the second smartphone from the brand this year after the Vision 1 Pro phone that was announced in January. With A47, the company aims to make a mark the sub-Rs 6,000 market in India.
Itel A47 specifications and features
The Itel A47 has a 5.5-inch IPS Full View display that produces an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. The screen is protected by 2.5D glass. The handset has thick bezels surrounding the display.
The top bezel of the Itel A47 has a 5-megapixel selfie camera with Soft Flash. The back panel of the phone features a vertical dual-camera system that includes a 5-megapixel dual camera setup. With AI onboard, the main camera can identify objects and capture optimised shots even in dim-light conditions. The secondary camera adds depth effects to the images. The Itel A47 also offers features like a beauty mode and portrait mode.
It is driven by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor and it has a 3,020mAh battery. The SoC is coupled with 2GB of RAM and it offers users 32GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot.
The Itel A47 is one of the few smartphones under sub-Rs 6,000 pricing to feature a fingerprint scanner, which can unlock in just 0.2 seconds. The handset also carries support for face unlock. The device boots to Android 9.0 Pie (Go Edition) OS.
Itel A47 price in India
The Itel A47 comes in gradient color options such as Cosmic Purple and Ice Lake Blue. It is priced at Rs 5,499. The handset will be exclusively available through Amazon India. It will go on sale starting from February 5th at 12 PM.
