In 2014, the Tamil language action comedy film ‘Jigarthanda’ was released. Karthik Subbaraj was the writer and director of this movie, and it was a runaway hit. This movie is said to be inspired by the South Korean film A Dirty Carnival (2006) and, to date, has been remade in multiple languages. Some of these include Bachchhan Pandey in Hindi, Gaddalakonda Ganesh in Telugu and Kannada. Now Karthik Subbaraj is bringing to the cinema table Jigarthanda Double X. Just as the name suggests, the movie promises to be double fun. Earlier in December, Karthik took to his official Twitter account to share that the shooting for the movie is underway.
