JioBook laptop with Snapdragon 665 SoC launched in India: price, specifications

JioBook laptop has silently launched at the ongoing India Mobile Congress. It has been listed on an online government marketplace. The listing reveals key specifications as well as the pricing of the device. 

The JioBook is an affordable budget laptop for those who are on a tight budget. Reliance has developed it in partnership with Qualcomm and Microsoft. Read on to know what the device offers out of the box.

JioBook specifications and features

The JioBook laptop comes with an 11.6-inch display bearing an HD resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. It features a plastic body and there is a Jio logo on the lid. The device is equipped with dual speakers. There is an HD camera for video recording. 

Under the hood, the Jio Book laptop houses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 665 processor coupled with Adreno 610 GPU. The device packs 2GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage expandable via a microSD card slot. The budget laptop runs on JioOS which seems to be a customised version of Windows. In terms of connectivity option, the Jio Book include WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, USB 3.0, USB 2.0, HDMI port, and a 3.5mm jack. 

JioBook price in India

The Jio Book laptop costs Rs 19,500 and is offered in a single Blue colour. The company is expected to announce the laptop’s availability soon.
