Jio Book is now listed for purchase on Reliance Digital’s website. To recall, the notebook was made official during the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2022 and was made available for purchase through Government e-Marketplace (GeM). Until now, the Jio Book was only for government employees. However, now that the Reliance Jio’s first laptop is listed on Reliance Digital, anyone who is interested in the device can purchase it.

The Jio Book was listed for Rs 19,500 on GeM. On Reliance Digital, the device is listed at a lower price. The notebook offers key features, such as an 11.6-inch screen, a Snapdragon 6-series chipset, and JioOS.

Jio Book features Snapdragon 665 chip

The Jio Book houses an 11.6-inch LCD display that offers an HD resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. Under the hood, the device features the Snapdragon 665 chipset and 2GB of LPDDR4x RAM.

The notebook runs on JioOS, which is a forked version of Android OS. It gives access to the Jio Store, through which users can download and install third-party apps. The device comes with 32GB of built-in eMMC storage. For additional storage, the device features a microSD card slot.

The Jio Book is powered by a 5,000mAh battery, which can offer 8+ hours of battery backup once it is fully charged. It is fitted with a 2-megapixel camera for video calls. The device offers other features like 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, an HDMI port, stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Jio Book, which is priced at Rs 15,799,  is available for purchase through Reliance Digital. Buyers can benefit from an instant discount of up to Rs 5,000 with leading banks credit / debit cards and EMI transactions. Buyers can also get a 10 percent instant discount by using credit cards from major banks such as Axis, Kotak, ICICI, HDFC, AU Bank, IndusInd, DBS, SBI, and Yes Bank.
