Kiran Thomas, CEO of Jio Platforms, stated, “We are excited to have DigiBoxx, a storage platform built in India, join us on this journey since we feel their services are secure, fast, easy, and world-class.” DigiBoxx, founded in 2020, is a digital file storage and asset management platform for companies and customers.

Users of the Jio Set-top Box can link their DigiBoxx account to the JioPhotos app, which comes pre-installed on every Jio Set-top Box. JioPhotos allows Jio customers to access all of their photos stored in various cloud storages such as Google Photos and JioCloud, as well as content shared across social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, on the Jio Set-top Box.

All information is grouped chronologically or geographically, and facial recognition is used to group some photos and videos just like we see on Google photos. When a user links their DigiBoxx account to the JioPhotos app, all of the videos and photographs in the DigiBoxx account are organised and divided into tabs for easy viewing and access.

Arnab Mitra, CEO of DigiBoxx, stated, “We are very happy about our new collaboration with Jio Platforms. This is more than an API connection; it is a collaboration of minds that has brought Jio and DigiBoxx together with a shared vision to transform cloud storage and usage in India.”
