Jio Game Controller has launched in India today. The striking highlight of the device is that it looks identical to Microsoft’s Xbox controller. The Jio Game Controller features a classic 20-button layout with 2 analog sticks.

The Jio Game Controller is compatible with a host of Bluetooth-enabled devices. However, it’s worth noting that the wireless gaming controller is not made for gaming consoles like PlayStation and Xbox. Read on to know what the device offers out of the box.
Jio Gaming Controller specifications and features
The Jio Gaming Controller has a classic design and is lightweight at 200 grams. It measures 153 x 58 x 110 mm in terms of dimension. The device houses two vibration motors with haptic control and two pressure-point triggers for an immersive gaming experience. There are eight direction arrow buttons and two joysticks located on the left and right sides respectively. The controller features colour-coordinated action buttons.
It also has additional buttons including Jio button, select, start, back, home, and TV key. The Jio Gaming Controller is compatible with Android tablets and smart TVs with a wireless range of up to 10 meters. However, the company suggests it to pair with Jio Set-Top-Box which was unveiled way back in 2019 for a better gaming experience. The wireless controller supports Bluetooth 4.1 connection for a low latency experience.
The Jio Gaming Controller is powered by a rechargeable Li-ion battery cell that is claimed to deliver 8 hours of usage. It can be charged via a microUSB port.
