Jio has listed three new long-term plans for JioPhone users in denominations of Rs 1,001, Rs 1,301, and Rs 1,501. The telco is calling these All-in-One annual plans since, they come with a validity of 336 days. Notably, the Mukesh Ambani-led telco was previously offering only monthly All-in-One plans. As the name suggests, these plans offer data, calling and SMS benefits to users.
Jio recently announced that it has a user base of 40.56 crores in India with 73 lakh new subscribers added in the quarter that ended on September 30th. While the telco is still the largest in the country, it reported a slump in new subscriber acquisition, which was 99 lakh in April – June quarter of this year. This could have been the reason behind the launch of these new long-term plans. Let’s take a look at details of these JioPhone All-in-One annual plans.
