JioPhone all-in-one packs and annual packs discontinued
The four plans priced at Rs 99, Rs 153, Rs 279 and Rs 594 only work on 4G ready feature phones from Reliance Jio. These plans are now replaced by Rs 75, Rs 155, Rs 125 and Rs 185. All four new plans have a validity of 28 days so users will have no option but to recharge their phones every month.
The Rs 279 and Rs 594 were the only two packs with a validity of 84 and 168 days respectively. Additionally, the old plans didn’t offer non-Jio calling minutes and hence users had to recharge with FUP packs starting from Rs 10.
The new entry-level Rs 75 pack offers 3GB (0.1GB per day) 4G data for 28 days compared to the Rs 99 plan that gave 0.5GB data per day for the same period. Similarly, the Rs 155 plan now gives lesser 1GB data per day for 28 days instead of the earlier Rs 153 plan with 1.5GB data daily. The new Rs 125 pack ships with 0.5GB data per day. Lastly, the Rs 185 recharge pack offers 2GB data daily.
The latest all-in-one packs come with unlimited voice calling to all networks without any FUP. The Rs 75 and Rs 125 packs offer 75 and 300 messages till the expiry date, while the Rs 155 and Rs 185 plans offer unlimited messages capped at 100 a day.
