JioPhone prepaid recharge plans have been hiked by up to 20 percent. The telecom operator offers seven prepaid recharge tariffs for JioPhone users. However, only three plans have received a price hike.
The new prices of the JioPhone’s prepaid recharge plans are already reflected on the telecom operator’s website. Jio has over 100 million JioPhone users and a subscriber base of nearly 410 million. The feature phone supports 4G and VoLTE connections and it is only limited to the company’s network. Check the revised prices and benefits of the JioPhone prepaid recharge plans below.
JioPhone prepaid recharge plans
After the 20 percent hike, the base Rs 155 plan is costlier by Rs 31 and is now available for Rs 186. It offers 1GB of 4G data per day. Secondly, the price of the Rs 185 recharge pack has increased by Rs 37 to Rs 222. It provides 2GB 4G data daily. Both plans are valid for a period of 28 days and come with unlimited phone calls to all providers and 100 SMS per day.
The top-tier Rs 749 plan has gotten expensive by Rs 150. It is available for Rs 899 now. The plan is valid for 336 days and packs 24GB of total data. This means that the user will get 2GB of data for 28 days and the plan will renew after 28 days. The recharge pack also offers 50 SMS and voice calling for 28 days.
It’s worth noting that once the data is over, the internet speeds will drop to 64kbps. All recharge plans also come with bundled content and service offers including Jio TV, Jio Cinema, Jio Security, and Jio Cloud.
