In episode 19, we saw the two go up against Mahito with Yuji fighting Mahito’s main body, and Nobara against his clone. The fight seemed to be in favour of Nobara as her Resonance cursed technique was quite effective against Mahito. But Mahito’s clone managed to flee, while his main body was also getting knocked down by Yuji. The two bodies, however, came together and touched Nobara’s face that led to an explosion.
We’re now eagerly waiting for episode 20 to see what happens after another tragic incident in Jujutsu Kaisen.

Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 has a total of 23 episodes with the story being told over two parts. It aired in July this year with the first part consisting of five episodes in total. There’s some uncertainty about the remaining episodes of Jujutsu Kaisen given the current situation at Studio MAPPA. There have been claims made by several animators about the poor treatment and compensation by the studio especially with season 2. We’ll just have to wait and see if the quality of the episodes are affected by the ongoing situation.
