India’s homegrown smartphone brand Karbonn has launched a new smartphone dubbed as Karbonn A41 Power. Just a week ago, the company announced the Karbonn Aura Note Play running Android Nougat right out of the box. Now, the company came with yet another device with toned down specs. The Karbonn A41 Power carries a price tag of Rs 4,099 and is available for purchase via online as well as offline channels.
Talking about specs, the Karbonn A41 Power sports a 4-inch WVGA display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. Under the hood, the device is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It runs the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and packs in a 16GB of inbuilt storage. It is further expandable via a MicroSD card up to 32GB.
For shutterbugs, the Karbonn A41 Power features a 2-megapixel primary camera at the back with LED flash. Up front, it flaunts a VGA selfie camera. The phone draws its power from a 2,300mAh Li-ion battery claimed to offer up to 8 hours of talk time and 300 hours of standby time. It is a Dual SIM phone which also extends its support to 4G connectivity. Talking about connectivity, the phone also features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Looking at the specs, the company is targeting to first-time smartphone users with this device. But with the announcement of Jio 4G feature phone, it would be interesting to see how these early-segment smartphones would stand against this new crop of comptetion.
