Indian smartphone maker Karbonn has launched a new smartphone dubbed as the Karbonn Frames S9. The major highlight of the smartphone is that it has dual-selfie cameras and is priced quite affordably at just Rs. 6,790. The phone is available on Amazon, Flipkart as well as offline retailers across the country. Let’s take a look at its specifications and features.
The Frames S9 rocks a 5.2-inch IPS display bearing a HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. To offer a better user experience, the phone has got a 2.5D curved glass on top. Considering the price, this is a decent display for multi-media viewing experiences. A lot of phones don’t come with a fingerprint sensor in the budget price range, but this one does come with one.
Coming to the most talked about feature in the phone, its dual selfie cameras. You get two 8-megapixel snappers on the front for taking portrait mode selfies. Even the back has an 8-megapixel sensor which is capable of clicking decent pictures.
In terms of performance, the Frames S9 is fitted with a 1.25GHz processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. Although you won’t be able to run heavy games or applications, it shall be sufficient for running basic apps and games. To store your files, you get 16GB of storage along with the ability to expand it up to 64GB via a microSD card.
