Kodak launches 4K Android TVs with Dolby Vision in India, prices start at Rs 23,999

Super Plastronics Pvt Ltd (SPPL), a brand licensee of Kodak has launched its first range of Android TVs under its CA series. The new lineup consists of four variants in 43, 50, 55 and 65-inches. The smart TVs share almost the same specifications apart from the display size. SPPL claims that it is the only the brand licensee in the country to partner with Google for its Make in India initiative. Kodak CA series specifications and features

The Kodak CA series comes in four screen sizes of 43, 50, 55 and 65-inches. All four variants feature UHD 4K resolution with support for Dolby Vision and HDR10 for an enhanced viewing experience. The display is surrounded by thin bezels. On the audio front, the televisions are equipped with Dolby Digital Plus with DTS TruSurround. 

Under the hood, the latest Kodak TVs pack 1.75GB RAM and offer 8GB of onboard storage. The Kodak CA series are Android-certified smart TVs running Android 9 Pie. The TVs come with Google Assistant for quick navigation and built-in Chromecast. There is also AirPlay support that allows users to stream content wirelessly from Apple devices. The televisions come with a bundled remote that has dedicated hotkeys for Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube and the Google Play Store. 

On the connectivity front, the Kodak CA series of televisions come with Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-FI, USB 3.0, HDMI and ARC/CEC ports. 

Kodak CA series price in India

The price of Kodak CA series starts at Rs 23,999 for the 43-inch variant. The 50 and 55-inch models are priced at Rs 27,999 and Rs 30,999 respectively. The 65-inch variant carries a price tag of Rs 49,999. The latest TVs will be available for purchase from Flipkart.
