Laththi is now available in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. After due consideration, actor Vishal was again signed for the role of a cop as his performances in previous films like Veeramae Vaagai Soodum, Ayogya and others were appreciated. During the shoot of the film, Vishal sustained series of injuries in one of his hands, owing to the stunt schedules. This delayed the process as he returned in March with several cautions.
