Now the device has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking site with some of its key specifications. As usual, the Geekbench appearance has revealed the chipset, RAM, and Android version of the device.
The Agni 2 is the follow-up to the first Lava Agni phone, which came out in October 2021. So, the Agni 2 is expected to be an affordable phone with 5G support. Here is all the information on the device that is known so far.

Tipster Paras Guglani has spotted the Geekbench 5 listing of the Agni 2. The new Lava phone that has appeared on Geekbench has the model number LXX504. The listing reveals that it is powered by the Dimensity 1080 chipset and 8GB of RAM.
The device will come preloaded with Android 13, which is expected to offer a near-stock Android experience. It scored 819 and 2267 in the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, respectively.

The Lava Agni 2 will feature a 6.5-inch HD+ screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is unclear whether the device has an LCD or AMOLED panel. The Dimensity 1080-powered device will be equipped with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. For more storage, it will feature a microSD card slot.
The Agni 2 will arrive with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. It will have a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary camera. For selfies, it will have a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. In addition, it will feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Our report from last month revealed that the Lava Agni 2 would launch by mid-March or April. However, new information reveals that the Agni 2 will debut in April. The Agni 2 is likely to be priced between Rs 22,000 and Rs 25,000.
