Lava AGNI 5G has been launched in India. It is the first 5G-compatible smartphone from the company. Notably, Lava is also the first home-grown brand to launch a 5G smartphone in the country.

Prior to today’s launch, the Lava AGNI 5G’s key specifications and pricing were leaked online. The smartphone comes with a MediaTek Dimensity processor, high refresh rate, big battery, and more. It falls under the sub-Rs 20,000 price segment and competes with the likes of the Realme 8 5G, Mi 10i, and others in the market.

The Lava AGNI 5G comes with a large 6.78-inch center-aligned punch-hole LCD display. It bears FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The device features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. There is a rectangular camera module on the back panel.
Under the hood, the Lava AGNI 5G houses a MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor. It is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage expandable via a microSD card slot. The device draws its power from a 5,000mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging. It runs Android 11 with a stock UI on the top. The smartphone also features ‘Gaming Mode’ to improve the performance and gaming experience.
The Lava AGNI 5G sports a quad rear camera setup comprising a 64MP primary sensor, 5MP wide-angle lens, 2MP macro unit, and a 2MP depth shooter. Up front, it is fitted with a 16MP snapper.
Connectivity options on the Lava AGNI 5G include a USB-C port, 5G, 4G, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth, and WiFi.
