- The Lava Befit is the first fitness tracker from the brand
- It comes with basic features like SpO2 and heart rate monitor, all-day tracking
- The device is also capable of measuring the users temperature
Homegrown brand Lava launched four smartphones in Z-series today. The lineup includes Lava Z1, Z2, Z4 and Z6. The devices are budget offerings and priced under Rs 10,000. The company also entered the wearables category with the launch of a fitness band.
The fitness tracker is called Lava Befit and it packs some decent features. The device will compete against the likes of Mi Band 5, Redmi Band, Realme Band and the upcoming OnePlus Band in the market.
Lava Befit specifications and features
The Lava Befit offers a rectangular display like the Redmi Band and Realme Band. Lava didn’t reveal the screen size but we can assume it to be around 1.4-inches since it’s common in fitness trackers. There is a capacitive home button at the bottom of the display.
The Lava Befit is equipped with a heart rate monitor and SpO2 sensor that monitors oxygen levels in the blood during intense workout sessions. It is also capable of measuring the user’s body temperature. The wearable device comes with sleep and all-day activity tracking. Like most fitness trackers, the Lava Befit displays notifications like calls, emails, messages and social media alerts.
Lava Befit price in India
The Lava Befit is priced at Rs 2,699 and will be available for purchase in the country from January 26th on Amazon.in, Lava’s official website and offline stores. It seems that the device is only available in Black colour option.
