Lava X2 has been launched in India. It is an online-exclusive smartphone that is packed with entry-level specifications. The handset features a large-sized screen, a MediaTek chip, a big battery, dual rear cameras, and it carries a sub-Rs 7,000 price tag.

Lava X2- the first smartphone in this series has been specially designed to cater to the needs of budget buyers. The smartphone is packed with exciting features like fingerprint scanner, face unlock, big battery and huge HD+ IPS display,” said Tejinder Singh, Head of Product at Lava International.

Lava X2 has a 5,000mAh battery
The Lava X2 has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display that offers an HD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The teardrop notch on the screen houses a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The back panel of the phone has an AI-powered 8-megapixel dual-camera system coupled with an LED flash.
The X2 is powered by a MediaTek octa-core processor, but its exact name is yet to be confirmed. It ships with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device comes preinstalled with the stock version of Android 11 (Go edition).
The handset offers security features like AI face unlock and a fingerprint scanner. It has a 5,000mAh battery, which lacks support for fast charging. The big battery promises 38 hours of 4G talk time, 480 hours of standby time, and 540 minutes of YouTube playback with full brightness. On the connectivity front, the smartphone offers features like dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0. GPS, a USB Type-C port with OTG support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Lava X2 price in India
The Lava X2 is now available for pre-booking through Amazon India until March 11th, 2022. It will be available for Rs 6,599 during the pre-booking period, after which it will be sold for Rs 6,999. Apart from Amazon, buyers can purchase the X2 from Lava India’s online store. The handset can be bought in colours like Blue and Cyan.
