An Indian smartphone brand Lava expanded its X-series lineup with another budget phone — Lava X28. The phone is priced at Rs. 7349 and available in silver, gold, and coffee color variants to purchase across retail stores. The Lava X28 is a Dual-SIM phone which comes with a 5.5-inch display featuring 1280×720 pixels HD resolution. The phone is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz.
The Lava X28 comes with 1GB RAM and 8GB onboard storage, which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot. The phone houses an 8-megapixel primary camera with a LED flash and features like face beauty, time lapse, and slow motion video. At the front, it has a 5-megapixel selfie camera with front flash. From the images, it looks like it has a metal back cover, which is removable. However, it’s not known if the battery is removable.
The VoLTE-supported Lava X28 packs in a 2600mAh Lithium-Polymer battery. It features a standard set of connectivity solutions i.e. GPRS/EDGE, 3G, 4G Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM, and microUSB 2.0. The Lava X28 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
The Lava X28 comes with a support for 12 Indian languages. It also offers a transliterate feature that makes the translation from English to native languages possible. Lava recently came up with its one-year screen replacement for phones purchased during September 15 – October 15, 2016.
