Lava has come up with yet another affordable smartphone in India dubbed Lava X41+. Soon after this update reached our table, we rushed the company’s official website to explore the smartphone and its features. Lava is boasting of touch-free control with Air Gestures on the website. What does that mean, you may ask. Well, this is how Lava explains the feature: “Now eat and click pictures of your food at once with the smart Air Gesture feature.” All we can decipher from the offered illustration is that the phone lets you swipe left to open gallery and swipe right to open the camera. We are not sure how exactly it is beneficial for users. However, we will be able to help you understand this better after trying it ourselves.
Furthermore, the Lava X41+ packs in 32GB built-in storage, which Lava claims to store up to 65,000 pictures. If you are not happy with the storage capacity, you can expand it further up to 32GB via microSD card. The Lava X41+ comes a 5-inch HD display featuring Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top. It equips Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and 2500mAh battery under the hood. Inside are a 1.3GHz quad-core processor combined with 2GB RAM. In terms of optics, there is an 8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash. On the front, there is a 5MP secondary camera for taking selfies.
On the connectivity front, the Lava X41+ embraces 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM, microUSB 2.0 port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It costs Rs 8,999 goes on sale in the coming days. However, no specific timeline is known just yet.
