Lava Z3 has been launched in India today. It arrives as the successor to the Lava Z2 that debuted in January last year. The newest device is a budget offering priced under Rs 10,000 segment.

The Lava Z3 comes with a large battery, dedicated microSD card slot, and Android 11 OS. The smartphone competes against the likes of Realme Narzo 50i, Micromax In 2b, POCO C31 and others in the market. Let’s take a look at what the Lava Z3 offers out of the box.

The Lava Z3 is a budget smartphone

The Lava Z3 comes with a 6.5-inch display bearing an HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch. The screen is shielded by Gorilla Glass 3. The device has vertical stripes on the back panel that also houses a fingerprint scanner. There is also a pill-shaped dual camera setup of an 8MP main sensor paired with a secondary lens and an LED flash. On the front, the device features a 5MP selfie snapper that supports face unlock. 

Internally, the Lava Z3 is powered by a MediaTek Helio A20 processor. It packs 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage with a microSD card support for additional storage needs. The smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit. Software-wise, the Lava Z3 runs on Android 11 OS. 

Connectivity options on the Lava Z3 include a USB-C port, 3.5mm jack, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS.

The Lava Z3 is priced at Rs 8,499 and is available in Striped Blue and Striped Cyan colours. The smartphone can be purchased from Amazon and Flipkart.
